Riders Upgrading or Downgrading for 2012 season

In the Novice and Intermediate classes only, for SE Championship Trials, should any rider win 3 qualifying best in class awards, they must upgrade at the end of the season or remain in the class and clearly specify on the entry form that they are riding 'for no points or award'

A rider may win a SE Championship but that does not automatically upgrade them, that occurs by winning 3 qualifying 'best in class awards'

Having won 3 best qualifying awards a rider may choose to upgrade themselves before the end of the season if they wish

• Matt Hogg has been accepted to downgraded from the Elite class to the Expert class for 2012.

The Combine Groups within the SE Centre may have different rules covering upgrade/downgrade in their own championship series
